These terms cover your use of Play Thirteen (playthirteen.io), operated by Roastlechon, LLC. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

1. The service

Play Thirteen is provided free of charge and requires no account. Game rooms are temporary: when a game ends, the room and everything in it goes away. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we do not promise any particular level of availability.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use this site. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Fair play and conduct

While using the site, you agree not to:

  • cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts or modified clients to gain an advantage;
  • harass, threaten or abuse other players, or send unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content in chat or as a display name;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are;
  • disrupt the service — including scraping, automated access, overloading the servers, or interfering with other players' games;
  • use the site for anything illegal, or for real-money gambling of any kind.

We may remove content and block access to the site if you do any of these, without notice.

4. What you post

You keep whatever rights you have in the display names and messages you submit. You give us permission to transmit and display them to the other players in your game room so the game can work. Chat is visible to everyone in your room. We do not monitor games in real time, so use your judgement about what you share — do not put personal information in a display name or in chat.

5. Intellectual property

The site, its code, graphics and text are owned by Roastlechon, LLC, except where third-party components are used under their own licences. You may not copy, redistribute or create derivative works from them without permission.

Thirteen is a traditional card game that has been played for generations in many variants. We claim no ownership of the game itself, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any publisher of a commercial version of it. Our implementation, name and artwork are our own.

6. Advertising and third-party links

The site displays ads served by Google and may link to other websites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Anything you do with an advertiser or linked site is between you and them.

7. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that a game in progress will not be lost.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roastlechon, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data or game progress arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Roastlechon, LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to that venue.
